The Cobequid Pass was empty except for lots of snow at the height of Saturday’s major storm, in sharp contrast to the hundreds of vehicles stranded there four days ago.
The Transportation Department closed Highway 104 from Truro to the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border early Saturday morning as snow and wind began to pound the province. It reopened by 3:30 p.m. when conditions eased.
