The health and wellness team is moving forward with some events to promote a healthier Halifax by highlighting sports and pastimes that may not get the attention they deserve for health promotion. I read an interesting survey in the Globe and Mail today (see below) about the disconnect between employers and the next generation of employees. Opportunities to advance, performance based bonuses, higher salaries and seeking new challenges top the list for those surveyed. A deeper diversity
When we hear the term diversity, the first thing that usually comes to mind is ethnic diversity. And that’s really important, and we certainly need more ethnic diversity in Halifax.
