A well-known Halifax crime figure was shot Thursday evening outside an apartment building in the Cowie Hill area in Halifax.
Sources and a witness at the shooting said Jimmy Melvin Jr., a
convicted drug dealer, was the victim. Some members of his family are
allegedly involved in a Halifax drug war.
